If your baby chips a tooth, here’s what you should do:
– Contact your dentist as soon as possible – they may be able to fit you in for an emergency appointment.
– If a visible fragment has chipped off, rinse it with water and store it in milk; take it to the dentist as they may be able to reattach it.
– Reduce any discomfort or swelling on baby’s face using a cold compress.
“Never give a baby any over-the-counter pain medication or numbing gel without first consulting with your dentist or paediatrician.”
